Denizli DESKİ Achieved Success in Physical Water Loss and Leakage Detection Operations

Denizli DESKİ General Directorate teams carried out physical water loss and leakage detection works in Bağbaşı Neighborhood. In the studies, 3 leakage points were successfully detected in the network by using 2 Gutermann brand main data collector Alpha, 23 signal repeater Repeater Repeater and 32 Zonescan 820 model noise recorder correlators in approximately 10 kilometers of pipeline. The detected leakage points were confirmed by DESKİ General Directorate officials with Gutermann brand Aquascope 550 model acoustic listening microphone. Excavation operations were carried out and the leaks found were repaired.

Gutermann products used for water loss and leakage detection have enabled Denizli DESKİ General Directorate to take an important step in the protection and efficient use of water resources. Thanks to these studies, water losses were prevented and a more effective and sustainable approach was provided in water management.
