Important Flow Measurement Study Successfully Carried Out in Ankara

The steel pipes located at Aski İvedik warehouse outlet, which is an important water source supplying water to half of the city, were equipped with Isoil brand MS3810 model immersion type sensor and MV110 model transmitter for flow measurement. The amount of water passing through the pipes (flow rate) was measured with flow meters mounted on 4 2,200 mm and 1 1,800 mm diameter steel pipes using the Hot Tap method (the process of drilling holes in the pipe under pressure).

This important work was carried out without any water interruption in the city. We would like to thank all our teammates who contributed to the smooth completion of the works.

Accurate and precise flow measurement is of great importance for the efficient use of water resources and water supply. With this study, Ankara's water resources can be managed more effectively and the city's water needs can be better met.

Efforts will continue to ensure that such projects become more widespread and water resources are used sustainably.
