Gutermann Takes a Major Step in European Leak Detection Technology

Swiss-based Gutermann AG, a world leader in advanced leak detection technologies, signed a €15 million contract with Acquedotto Pugliese (AQP). This project is a significant achievement in Europe, providing leak detection and monitoring technology for the Apulia and Basilicata Regions in Southern Italy.

Cutting-Edge Technology for Leak Detection

Gutermann will provide over 20,000 ZONESCAN NB-IoT linked noise logger correlators, utilizing high-efficiency cellular narrowband-IoT communication technology. This technology will be deployed across approximately 200 towns and cities within AQP’s water distribution system, making it the largest deployment of its kind in Europe.
