NIVOROTA rotary vane level switches are capable of detecting the levels of various materials. These materials include agglomerates such as powders, grains and granules. These devices monitor and control the filling and emptying of stored materials such as stones, ash, sand. These materials can include different components such as coal, feed and beet slices.
The operation of a level switch is based on a small electric motor controlling a rotating wheel. When no material is available, the wheel rotates freely. When the material level reaches the wheel, the motor is stopped and the output switch is activated. When the material level drops, the impeller is released and the motor is started again.
NIVOROTA E-700 & E-800 series Rotary Track Level Switches offer many features in a single unit. The versions with dust protection certification can be used safely in hazardous environments. They are also available with an extension cable or rod up to 3 meters long, a high temperature version and IP67 protection class.
These level switches are used in different industries. These include the food industry (sunflower seeds, sunflower, husk, coffee and cocoa, powder, flour, sugar, etc.), chemical industry (plastic powders, granules, pellets), construction industry (cement, sand, calcium, powder, gypsum) and energy industry (activated soot, coal dust, fly ash).
