Hiscan – Permanent Leak Monitoring System

A permanently HISCAN installed leak monitoring system for trunk lines that are both highly sensitive (using associated hydrophone sensors) and can operate independently for at least 5 years using solar power for data gateways. Data is sent to the GUTERMANN CLOUD, allowing utilities to detect leaks and investigate them remotely.

Acoustic leak detection system based on hydrophone sensors:

The combination of hydrophone technology and the know-how of the GUTERMANN ZONESCAN product range produces acoustic leak detection performance never before achieved for unmanned, permanent systems. The large amount of data collected from sensors several hundred meters apart and the ability to correlate measurement points allow for optimized leak noise analysis and accurate identification of detected leaks. The main application focus of HISCAN is large diameter trunk lines, but plastic pipe networks (PE, PVC) can also be monitored effectively.

Advanced signal processing for large diameter and plastic pipes:

The recorded audio signal of each sensor is transmitted to a central server via GUTERMANN’s proprietary transmission technology based on the latest IOT technologies. The data on the server is then automatically analyzed using next-generation proprietary algorithms. To further improve the results provided by the system, the user is offered a wide range of options: adaptive filtering, timeline analysis and filters optimized for different materials and pipe diameters. Store and view data in GUTERMANN CLOUD for remote access and advanced reporting:

All data recorded by the sensors is stored in the GUTERMANN CLOUD for future access. Common platform for other GUTERMANN products you can use, eg ZONESCAN ALPHA; EASYSCAN or MULTISCAN. The highly optimized interface used by many leak detection professionals all over the world is at your disposal.
