The ISOIL ISOFLUX IFX-R Ultrasonic Flowmeter with Battery (flowmeter) for application to drinking water is MID MI001 certified and the device is based on the ultrasonic measuring principle and is available for diameters from 50 mm to 200 mm.
This is a dual-beam version with negligible pressure drops, no mirrors or similar, truly full-bore design. IFX-R Battery Powered Ultrasonic Flowmeter R 500 S3 / S1 ratio, feature mounting in any position, both vertical and horizontal, and U0 / D0 certified, it does not require a straight pipe lengths for installation.
It includes a powerful integrated data logger for a lifetime of more than 10 years. On request it can be equipped with pulse outputs or radio communication with proprietary protocols such as SigFox or Lora.
It belongs to a complete range of ISOFLUX flowmeters designed for flow measurements of conductive, non-conductive liquids. In short, the series includes the following versions:
- IFX-A – AC mains powered meters
- IFX-B – Battery powered meters
- IFX-R – MID certified battery water meters (in this product sheet)
Ultrasonic flow meters operate on transit time principle by measuring the time difference of ultrasonic waves traveling in and against the direction of the fluid flow.
