MS2500 – Electromagnetic Flowmeter Sensor (Flanged Type)
The ISOMAG MS2500 electromagnetic flowmeter sensor is ISOIL’s sensor group with the largest diameter range. An electrically conductive fluid passes through the magnetic field in the electrically isolated sensor. To create a magnetic field, the MS2500 uses a pair of coils (electrodes) and an electric current is passed through these coils. An electric field is formed between the electrodes, directly proportional to the flow rate of the liquid. Finally, the electric field strength is converted to the flow rate through the converters of various ISOIL and the volumetric flow rate is reached using the line diameter.
