The Multicon compact multi-channel controller is capable of logging data if the logging function is requested and enabled. The MultiCon CMC 141 has all the features of the CMC-99, but with the addition of a larger screen, more inputs/outputs and even more logic channels. Body depth is only 100 mm. This makes it one of the first industrial devices to integrate advanced control functions (PID, ON/OFF, time and profiles etc.) and logging of setpoints, excitations and current state of controlled objects. It is based on Linux firmware, it is stable, and the touchscreen makes configuration easy and convenient. Although the Multicon CMC-141 is built in a fairly small enclosure, it can integrate up to 72 inputs and its structure provides the user with virtually free configuration by selecting up to 3 out of the 30 available input/output modules. The device can record all built-in logical channels simultaneously and is capable of recording data at a maximum rate of 10Hz (ten samples per second with some limitations on the number of channels recorded). The 1.5 GB internal data memory is sufficient for continuous recording of all channels at a rate of 1 sample per second (per channel) for more than 2 months (total of 125 000 000 samples!). The operator can download the stored data via a USB flash disk or Ethernet.
Data logging provides a kind of added value to the enormous possibilities shown above. The MultiCon can record any 60 measurement channels at a rate of 10 samples per second. It has 2 or 4 GB internal flash memory that allows data recording up to 300 000 000 records. The data logging function is also optimized for the use of the hardware resources of this device – the channels for data logging are grouped (1-6 channels) and the data logging rate can be freely adjusted in each group. In addition, there is a unique alternative (higher or lower) speed data logging option that only starts under user-specified conditions. This solution allows you to precisely monitor object parameters in critical situations. Data save functionality requires a license key (LKS).
