The low cost UNICONT PSW Automatic Pump Control System is designed for fully automatic level control of small domestic or shared sewage wells, reservoirs or water wells. The IP68 protected ultrasonic level transmitter performs continuous level measurement and sends 4–20 mA level data to the UNICONT PSW unit, which includes a user programmable controller. This controller with relay output in UNICONT PSW can be used in sump, well, etc. directly controls the moving single-phase pump. The current controlled switch operates in differential level switch mode by default, low and high levels are programmable. Thanks to an optional programmable timer, automatic pump cycling can be performed to prevent the pump from jamming during long periods of idleness. This function is useful in case of infrequent use or low water consumption. If safety is a priority, use optional NIVOFLOAT NLP type float level switches for additional dry-run or overfill protection. The system is a single pole Miniature Circuit Breaker or a Motor Protection Switch.
